3 Minutes Blue Mountain is a series of “Mountains” based on the reaction of chemical materials to carry out my freehand drawing of imaginary mountains. Each piece in the series consists of five pictures and each picture represents a unique mountain. I fabricated these mountains out of "emptiness" through sketching chemical dyes on Polaroid photo paper. The whole process of exposure lasts only 3 minutes. I used these fictional wigwams to commemorate those fast disappearing “landscapes”.
